Extensive (Rust) &/or Vintage Estimate

An etensive estimate is for watches with water and/or rust damage, or for vintage watches (older than 20 years) with extensive wear and/or difficult to find parts, with water damage, and/or vintage mechanical and/or pocket watches requiring research in order to verify part sourcing, and/or to locate custom crystals, etc. Older mechanical watches also require extended inspection in order to locate cracked jewels, bent pivots, damaged hairsprings, broken clicks, etc. As with all the estimate charges, if you elect to have the repair performed by us, this fee is applied to the cost of the repair.

The estimate fee pays for one watch to receive an initial inspection for problems. A detailed diagnosis will be performed, and you will be advised of the cost to repair the watch. If you decide to have the repair performed and pay for the repair, your estimate charge will be applied to the cost of the repair. If you decline the estimate quote, then your estimate fee will pay for our diagnosis and return shipping. The estimate fee is non-refundable.

The estimate fee is non-refundable.
We do not estimate or service Replica/Novelty/Fake watches, Russian watches, or watches from customers in Puerto Rico. Any watch sent to us for a prepaid estimate which violates this policy will be returned to the customer, insured for NO value. Estimate fees will not be refunded.
